Creative Expressions Therapy is excited to welcome the newest addition to our clinical team: A. Schultz. They began their clinical with Creative Expressions as practicum student and intern in 2025. After completing their Masters degree program at Antioch University in the summer of 2026 they have joined our clinical team and are excited to be accepting new clients. They were born in Seattle and grew up in Edmonds, Washington. With a background in visual art, they pivoted to studying art therapy, inspired by their own positive experiences with mental health counseling and in response to the collective stress of the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout their graduate studies at Antioch University, they focused on developing an integrated approach to counseling that draws from existentialist counseling, Buddhist and liberation psychology. They are exceptionally client-centered and prioritize trauma-informed approaches to therapy. They provide counseling that centers and affirms marginalized identities, such as the experiences of LGBTQAI+ communities and are eager to provide services to all who need it. They live in Seattle with their partner, three cats and their kitchen table printmaking practice.
